Space Stations

The international space station ISS and the Russian MIR are and where space stations moving around the earth. The ISS is payed, build and manned by an international community.

 

  • The International Space Station circles around the earth since 1998 probably until 2028. It can be seen with the naked eye, if it has a passage overhead and if the Weather is clear.

  • The Russian MIR was in service from 1986 until 2001. It was followed up by the current ISS.
